HGCh/X Hydrogen Generator is designed to produce hydrogen of Rank A according to GOST 3022-80, which is used for supplying analytical instrumentation (chromatographs, gas analyzers and etc.). Hydrogen produced by generator can be used as carrier gas due to high pressure, deep purification and low moisture content. Hydrogen generator is appropriate for gas supplying to gas chromatographs. Hydrogen is generated as a result of water electrolysis. • Rank of generated hydrogen is A according to GOST 3022-80. • Hydrogen purity on dry gas basis is 99.999 volume percent. • Concentration of water vapors is no more than 5 ppm at 20 °C and 100 kPa. • Total hydrogen capacity, reduced to normal conditions is 6/9/12 l/h. • Range of specified output hydrogen pressure is 0 - 450 kPa. • Stability of output hydrogen pressure is not worse than ± 2 kPa. • Time of operating mode establishment does not exceed 30 minutes. • Volume of filled up twice-distilled water is in the range of 0.75 – 1 l. • Flow of twice-distilled water is no more than 0.02 l/h. • Consumption of twice-distilled water is 1.6 g/l of hydrogen. • Average power consumption at stationary mode is no more than 200 VA. • Maximum power consumption (at start-up) is no more than 250 VA. • Overall dimensions of generator (width x depth x height) are the following: no more than 181 mm x 460 mm x 430 mm. • Weight of generator does not exceed 10 kg. Operating conditions: • ambient air temperature is in the range of +10 0C … +35 0C. • power supply from single-phase AC network with voltage of 220 V ± 10% . • frequency is 50 ± 1 Hz. According to electrical safety Generator meets requirements of Class 1, Type N by GOST 12.2.025-76. Water conductivity is controlled in hydrogen generator, which greatly prolongs service life period of electrolytic cell. All necessary parameters such as pressure, water conductivity and humidity of generated hydrogen (on Customer’s request) are indicated on the electronic display. Electronic circuit of generator controls critical parameters of the hydrogen generation process and in case of specified parametersoverrunning the audio alarm activates.
